Macadamia nuts are 80% monounsaturated fatty acids which help lower LDL (bad cholesterol level) and they are a low glycemic index food. Lemons are high in vitamin C an antioxidant important for skin health and immune function and Vitamin B6 contributes in converting food into energy. And of course, everyone knows about blueberries; loads of Vitamin C, super rich in antioxidants, manganese and help maintain brain health. What about dates? They are ideal sweetener; they contain vitamins and minerals in addition to fiber and antioxidants. Who could ask for anything more!
All our sweets are sweetened with dates. Dates are a good source of various vitamins and minerals, energy, sugar, and fiber. It also contains calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and zinc.
We activate our pecans. The process takes 2 days which makes the nutrients bio-available to our body. We rinse, soak overnight , rinse again , dehydrate for 24 hours and store them in our cooler. You’ll also find that it facilitates our digestion. This process isn’t necessary for white nuts like macadamia and cashews.
